According to media reports, the Philippines on Friday approved the acquisition of anti-ship missile systems for its navy from BrahMos Aerospace Pvt Ltd. This offer is about 37.49 crore US dollars. The officials of BrahMos have been informed by the Department of National Defense of the Philippines.
According to media reports, on January 11 this week, the Indian Navy and Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) successfully test-fired the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile. The missile is a joint venture between India and Russia.
According to reports, an underwater version of the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile is also being developed in India. It will not only be used by submarines of India, but will also be offered for export to friendly countries.
