Police in the United Arab Emirates identified the dead as two Indian nationals and one Pakistani. “Initial investigations found parts of a small plane that could possibly be a drone at both sites that could have caused the explosions and the fire,” the police said in a statement to state news agency WAM.
The Industrial area, Mussafah, is situated about 20 km from the Presidential Palace and around 10 km from the US and Saudi embassies
According to Abu Dhabi Police, Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi movement has claimed responsibility for the attack. As per reports, 6 others have been wounded due to the attack, according to WAM, reports Dubai’s Al-Arabiya English.
