Canada has advised its citizens to travel to Ukraine only if absolutely necessary, given the escalating tensions between Ukraine and Russia. In a statement issued by Canada’s Foreign Ministry, it said that due to the increasing tension between Russia and Ukraine and increasing military gathering in the border areas of the two countries, the danger is increasing, so avoid non-essential travel to Ukraine.
This move is similar to that on Monday, keeping in mind the same threat, the US, Australia and Britain allowed some of their diplomats and their families to leave in Ukraine. Other countries are also prepared that if the situation worsens, they have also advised their people to leave Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Russia continues to deny all claims of attacking Ukraine, but on the other hand has insisted that it considers increasing NATO military activity near Russian borders as a threat to its national security.
