The first is the anti-ship variant launched from the warship, the second is the land-attack variant from the warship. Both these variants are already operational in the Indian Navy. Third- submarine-launched anti-ship variant and fourth- submarine-launched land-attack variant.
Destroyers INS Ranvijay and INS Ranvir have a launcher with 8 BrahMos missiles. 8 missile launchers have been deployed in Talwar class frigates INS Tarkash, INS Teg and INS Trikand. The BrahMos missile is also fitted in the Shivalik class frigate. It has also been deployed in Kolkata Class Destroyer. It has also been successfully tested at INS Visakhapatnam.
