Today Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Pragati Maidan tunnel (Integrated Transit Corridor Project)

New Delhi, India: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate the Pragati Maidan tunnel (Integrated Transit Corridor Project) and five underpasses at 10 am on Sunday.

This project is beneficial for the people of Delhi in many ways. With its launch, while the traffic jam on the ITO area, Mathura Road and Bhairon Marg will be reduced, there will also be a reduction in pollution.

Drivers will be saved 15 to 20 minutes of time, the fuel money spent on getting stuck in the jam will be saved. Out of the total vehicles passing through here, 78 percent vehicles will pass through the tunnel road every day and due to the end of the jam, about 13000 tonnes of carbon dioxide will be generated less per year.

The special thing is that the world’s largest painting has been made in this tunnel equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Which can be recorded in the Guinness Book of Records. There is a plan to give permission to the public to travel in the tunnel road from the evening time. India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) under the Government of India has worked on this project by spending money. . The work has been done by construction company Larsen & Toubro by taking tender from Public Works Department of Delhi Government.

Wall painting will be recorded in Guinness Book of Records

The wall painting made in Pragati Maidan will be entered in the Guinness Book of Records. The world’s largest wall painting has been prepared here. According to Goyal, there is currently a hand-made wall painting in South Korea in an area of 25 thousand meters, while in Pragati Maidan, there is a hand made wall painting in an area of more than one lakh meters, which is the world’s largest painting.
