Shiv Sena’s minister Eknath Shinde claims more than 40 MLAs support.

Maharashtra Politics crisis: The clouds of crisis are hovering over the Thackeray government of Maharashtra. The Maharashtra government has faced a crisis due to the rebellion of Shiv Sena’s veteran leader and minister Eknath Shinde. Shinde claims that he has the support of more than 40 MLAs. It has MLAs from Shiv Sena, Independents and other parties. All these MLAs are camping at the five star Hotel Radisson Blu in Guwahati.

According to media reports, the seven-day tariff for Radisson Blu Hotel rooms is Rs 56 lakh. Apart from this, the daily cost of food and other services is Rs 8 lakh. The hotel has 196 rooms. Apart from the 70 rooms booked for MLAs, the management is not accepting new bookings. Apart from this, restaurants and banquets are also closed.

Some rebel MLAs have said that the Shiv Sena should forge an alliance with the “natural ally” BJP to form the new government. The MLAs have booked hotels in Guwahati for a week, which shows that they are ready to stay here for a long time.

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut said that we are ready to walk out of the MVA government in Maharashtra, but the party rebels should return to Mumbai (from Guwahati) in 24 hours. He said that the rebel MLAs should discuss the issue with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. They should not write letters on Twitter and WhatsApp.
