Uttrakhand, India: At least 18 people were killed in a missile attack on a shopping center in the Ukrainian city of Kremenchuk , the BBC reported, Ukrainian President volodymir Zelensky as saying that about a thousand civilians are estimated to be inside the mall at 15:50 a.m. on Monday.
Zelensky said the attack was the most brutal terrorist act in European history. He said that the mall has no strategic importance for him and does not pose any threat to his army. He said that this is just complete terrorism madness, such people attack such things with missiles, they should not get any place on this land.
The leaders of the G7 group meeting in Germany condemned the attack and called it a disgusting incident. “Indiscriminate attacks on innocent civilians are war crimes,” he said in a joint statement.
In addition to condemning the attack, the group of countries pledged to continue to provide financial, humanitarian as well as military assistance to Ukraine in a joint statement.
